Subject: Watch the Crowd
Thanks a lot for posting this. There seems to be so little of his work to hear.

Sadly the crowd is really really REALLY obnoxious on this. Why go to a show if you're going to completely ignore it and spend the entire time yapping?

Great show; I only wish I had gotten to see a show w/ Charlie and Carter Albrecht. I was so looking forward to seeing the two of them together at the upcoming shows in Dallas.

Subject: Good music, difficult recording
The music is excellent, and Sexton's backing band is solid.

The audience noise is merciless, but this is still worth hearing if you like the songs and his guitar playing.

There are no other known sources for this show. Flac's made from original recording sources. Source has only been edited for length & to add fades. Shannon McNally opened for Charlie Sexton, and was taped. Both shared the same backing band. The show was billed as The Charlie Sexton & Shannon McNally Rock & Roll Revue. There is a considerable amount of crowd chatter throughout the show. Additionally, there was some drunk idiot yelling for the blues all night that brought his own harmonica and tried to play along. He moved near me at the end of Charlies set and can be heard clapping & playing harmonica poorly.
